Question 1. "Sustainability" is an increasingly more important concept in public lands management as science and society integrate for management. Please discuss the important elements of "sustainability" as it relates to public land management, being sure to define it in your own terms. Use the reading for Week 6 from the Public Policy Foundation on Sustainability and Management Policy of US Public Lands.
Then, discuss clearly how the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management incorporate "sustainability" into their management practices. Be sure to note any examples, difficulties or other salient issues. Conclude by summarizing effectively.
