Discuss at least three different religions that you have studied this semester. Be sure to mention which civilization each religion was originally associated with, who founded it, its general belief system, what time period it is associated with, how the government responded to it, and how it changed society. Be sure to include specific examples.
(Essay – I will give you two prompts to choose from on the test. You will only have to write one essay. It is a good idea to start with the 5 paragraph essay format for this section (1. introduction; 2.3.4. supporting paragraphs; 5. conclusion). You should be able to discuss continuity and change in society over time. You should include general dates in your essay, but exact dates are not required in this section. You should also include specific examples from the civilizations we have studied. I will not deduct points for misspellings or grammatical errors, but I do expect you to organize your thoughts well and write legibly. )
