Assignment: Critical Thinking And Decision Making In Business
Introduction
As noted in this week's lecture, a person can use an intuitive approach or a systematic approach for making decisions and solving problems. Conduct research on the Internet or review articles accessed via Champlain's library. Should you decide to review articles accessed via an Internet search engine, do not use Wikipedia!
Instructions
To get started, read the article concerning intuitive and analytical thinking. The link is on this week's overview page. If you decide to use it as a reference, include at least two other references.
After reviewing a few articles, explain the differences between the two methods. Which method is best for making decisions? Why?
Concerning your work life, which method do you prefer? Why?
In addition, discuss at least one example for each of the methods. For both examples, be sure to focus on business instead of your personal life.
At the bottom of your document, include your sources (at least two).
Your assignment should be at least one page in length (single spaced) excluding resources. Use one-inch margins and a standard font size (11-12).
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
