Explore the online exhibit about the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire . After reading the story of the fire and reading several of the interviews of survivors, conduct a search online for information about sweatshops in the 21st century. Then, in your thread, compare and contrast the working conditions, wages, people groups, locations of the sweatshops, and justifications used by the owning organizations to support these conditions. Are modern sweatshops a problem? If not, why? If they are, what should be done?
