Discussion Post: International Politics
1) Define the term collective security. Be sure to address how it is supposed to work and its political limitations. Discuss the weaknesses of the League of Nations and why it ultimately failed. Be sure to discuss some specific examples.
2) Discuss the political, economic, and strategic reasons for arms sales in the international system. In your discussion be sure to address some specific examples.
3) Discuss any two of the Arab-Israeli wars. Be sure to address their origins as well as their effect on the international system.
4) Address the level of analysis question in international relations. Discuss the different priorities Great Powers and Regional Powers have even though they may be allies. Address some specific examples.
