Your projectfor this course is to investigate potential security technologies, policies and practices which can play an important role in addressing security issues experienced by organizations or a software application. How to Compose your Paper/Project
You will first identify an organization for example a university computing system, or a banking system or any business that you are familiar with,OR you can choosean IT system or application used within the organization for example database system, cloud system.....
At a minimum, your project report shall include the following elements:
Part I:
1. Description of the Organization or the IT system
2. Business and Systems Overview of Selected IT System (purpose and benefits of system)
3. Detailed System /Organization Description
4. Summary of Potential Threats and Security threats/risks to the System or the organization
5. Implications for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the system or application.
Building upon the above description, you or your team will now investigate technologies, policies or practices that will help mitigate the security threats and risks that were identified.
At a minimum, your project report shall include the following elements:
Part II
1. Summary of available technologies that address the potential security threats and risks identified in part I
2. Summary of suggested policies or practices that can be implemented to mitigate the security threats or risks identified
3. Implications for the reliability, accuracy and integrity of information processed within the system
4. Recommendations on an approach to security that the organization should adopt using some or all of the technologies, policies or practices discussed.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
