Roald Coase received a Nobel Prize in 1991 for his work in Transaction Cost Theory. Using an actual company example we have discussed in class, explain how this theory can be used by a company to evaluate outsourcing as a competitive market strategy. In your answer, discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing.
