Of course, you have, now that you are well into week 3 and our unit on neural signaling in Medical Neuroscience! OK -- maybe not. But consider this question now: what do you think life would be like for you if your action potentials were, say 0.1 msec in duration, rather than 1-2 msec. Or suppose they were 10 or even 100 msec, instead of their evolved lightning-fast speed. Can you imagine what your life would be like? Let's discuss it!
