GOAL: To use the Internet to learn about the history of a law enforcement agency of your choice. Go to the WWW and choose a search engine (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.) in order to locate a police department (your choice: federal, state, or local) and learn about the history of that agency. The assignment must be at least one-two pages, types, new times roman, 12 font, and created as a word document and uploaded in the dropbox provided. You can simply use questions and answer format for this assignment. It DOES NOT have to be in APA format. If you have any questions please ask your instructor. 2. Which governing body established the agency?
3. How many officers did the agency employ in the beginning? How many does the agency employ now?
4. How many directors/chiefs of police/superintendents has the agency had since its beginning?
5. What were some of the major changes and implementations that have occurred within the agency since its beginning?
6. How has technology changed the agency and what types of technology are being used today?
