Assignment: Article Summary Requirements
Your third article should be different than your first two articles and relate to the following topics:
1. The Future of Banking and Financial Services (Trends and Outlook)
2. Digital Disruption in Banking and Financial Services
3. Cultivating Banking Culture and Strategy for Innovation and Transformation
4. Automation of Banking Functions and the Impact in Banking Careers and Job Positions
5. Banks and Fintechs - Banking Strategies to Build, Buy or Partner
6. Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence for Banking and Financial Services
7. Managing the Future of Banking in a Global Marketplace
Here is what you need to do for this activity:
1. Find an article in one of the resources listed on the syllabus (Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Economist and American Banker) or similar publications that relates to these topics. It needs to be a recent article (no older than December 2018).
2. Summarize the article and list its association to a specific topic and state the reason(s) for your selection.
3. Highlight and provide a definition of the specific topic or concept discussed in your selected article. For example, if the article discusses mobile wallet you should include its definition: mobile wallet is an emerging payment type that uses smartphones and tablets equipped with near field communication (NFC) or a bar code e.g. Apple Pay.
4. List some important points or lessons learned from this article.
5. Provide a full copy of the article (links are not acceptable).
