If we assume that "human bombers" are not about military strategy, then what are they about? Are they motivated by a view of themselves as reflective of jihadist perspectives of them as being sacrifices and/or "gifts"?
Consider this-if you were going to attempt to recruit people to be suicide bombers what would you focus on? How would you get them to want to "sign up"? What methods, media and messages would you use in your recruitment campaign?
If possible, please give examples to better understand your response.
