Peter and Diana were married a decade ago. They have one son, Tyson, who is now five years old. The first five years of their marriage were very happy, but, after Tyson was born, the relationship between Peter and Diana began to deteriorate. When he was at home, Peter would spend all his time with Tyson, and hardly spoke to Diana, whom he generally ignored. He was at home infrequently, claiming that, because of a promotion to a senior managerial position, he had to work long hours.
At work, Peter's boss, Sally had been constantly hitting Peter's bottom every time Sally asks Peter to perform a particular job. Further, Sally had been making request to have dinner dates with Peter and had made suggestions to Peter that if Peter wishes for the promotion for the senior managerial position, Peter better go out on dates with Sally. As a matter of fact, Peter had been on two dinner dates with Sally which caused Diana to suspected that he was involved in a string of affairs. She hired a private investigator to conduct surveillance on him. For quite a few times, Peter was seen shopping and watching movies with his best friend George. Feeling that he was being constantly monitored, Peter was annoyed. One weekend, Peter restricted Diana to stay at home and questioned her whether she had secretly arranged the stalk. Their talk finally boiled over into a serious quarrel.
Six months ago, Peter and Diana agreed to separate, and Peter left the matrimonial home. The separation occurred after Peter confessed to Diana that he had fallen in love with another person. He also revealed that the other person was his best friend George. Peter confessed that he was homosexual. For Tyson's sake, Diana agreed not to reveal Peter's sexual orientation to anyone else.
Since Peter left the matrimonial home, the relationship between Peter and Diana has further deteriorated, particularly as they have engaged in an increasingly acrimonious dispute, conducted through their lawyers, over the distribution of their matrimonial property. One month ago, Diana informed Peter that, unless he agreed to a separation of the property on terms suggested by Diana's lawyers, Diana would make known his sexual orientation 'to relevant people'. Diana has also threatened to upload on the internet some explicit videos that her and Peter filmed of their lovemaking in the early happy years of their marriage. Diana claims that these videos reveal that Peter is a lousy lover because he is homosexual.
Diana has now revealed his sexual orientation to Peter's family. Peter is very upset about what Diana told his family. He is also concerned about the further revelation of his sexual orientation, and about Diana's threat to upload the videos on the internet.
