In some states, health plans contribute data to provide all-payer comparative quality data, using both claims data and clinical chart abstraction. (See for example the Minnesota Community Measurement initiative's website: www.mnhealthcare.org.)
What do you feel are the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of community approach?
