Discussion Post: Leadership Concerns
Leadership concerns influencing others and is fundamentally a matter of human relationships. Whether we realize it or not, we all have a theory about human nature. What is yours? Here are some questions to consider in your essay:
a) How can those in leadership positions ensure they are using their power ethically?
b) Discuss a time in which you (or someone else you know) reverted to using position power to influence others. Looking back, would you have done anything differently?
c) Has a person in a leadership or management position ever asked you (or someone you know) to do something unethical on the job? What did you do and what was your justification in doing so?
d) What can leaders and followers do to overcome ethical challenges involving power and influence?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
