Discuss a real-world information technology project with a real project manager or a team member. Feel free to use any project from your co-op, work, or personal connections, if applicable.
Prepare several interview questions (minimum 10 questions) in terms of the project information (why/how project was initiated, was project success or failure, what was the project scope/schedule/cost, was project completed within time and budget (why or why not), what did go well or not go well in that project, some of the team-related challenges, was customer satisfied, what were some of the risks of this project, how often you communicate with your stakeholders –was that helpful?) and then ask them these questions in person, over the phone, or via email. Discuss what went right and wrong on the project including the role of the project manager. Write a one-page summary of your findings (be sure to attach your questionnaire).
