Disability and normal living

Assignment:

Selma has a network of friends, Kathy being the main one; how do they treat Selma, do they treat her like she has no disability or is it the opposite. You mention how she isn't completely blind as her one eye still has enough to sight to work, this is huge because it would have been confusing if she was blind working in a factory. The movie expressions a ying and yang with how she has upset after upset but with all that happening her biggest prayer was answered in her sons eyes. It seems like with her disability its tied into the whole story, as you mention the plot its evident people with disabilities cannot live normal lives. I think its pretty important cause her being blind had a affect on her death.
