Problem1. Suppose that you’re appointed at Mauritius Textile Ltd, a company engaged in production of garments for export to European countries. The company employs about 900 employees with a majority of them working in production unit.  Freshly, some industrial complaints have been registered at the level of management but haven’t been settled.  Some colleagues of yours, believing that the actual Trade Union is not playing its role properly, has approached you for the creation of another union to represent them.
 
Question1. You are required to counsel your colleagues with respect to provisions of Section 4 of Employment Relations Act 2008 for application for registration as trade union with Registrar.
