Research local courts for information regarding procedures and jurisdictional issues. Please respond to each of the following:
Research local cases of corporal punishment or reported cases of abuse by teachers within your community or state and discuss your findings.
- What factors led to the juvenile and teacher acting in the manner they did?
- Develop a plan of action to help both the student and educator to remediate such behaviors and create a classroom that provides for both the needs of the student and educator.
- How can these changes be beneficial to both the educational and justice systems?
