• Disorderly Youth at a Movie Theatre Youth disturbances in the evenings at the local playgrounds and parks

• Disturbances and alcohol/drug related crimes during the summer in a beach community

• Pocketbooks stolen from the elderly in front of banks around the first of the month

Using each of the crime problems.

• Discuss how they are manifested as immediate problems, short-term problems, and long-term problems.

• For each type of crime, choose one of the categories of long-term problems that best fits the crime type. Explain how this crime fits that particular type of long-term problem.

• Decide what type of data can be collected on these cases that would help police understand the problem. These data types can be listed.

Requirements:
