Problem:
SWOT(T) analysis is an important tool for companies, large and small, when developing a strategic plan. However, there are many companies that do not use this tool; but they do use something similar. And I have found that the larger companies use this tool; where smaller companies are less sophisticated and informal.
What has this been your experience? Do you know of other tools that are effective in developing strategic plans? Is one better than the other? And has your experience supported my comments about larger and small companies?
Are there companies that you know of that could use a "facelift"? How would you go about improving them?
