Developing a plan of action to help accomplish training

Question: Developing a plan of action to help accomplish training goals is a key to greater success in any type of position. Many people think that goal development is just thinking of some goals and saying, "Ok, I have these new goals to meet" then just go on their way with no real plan of action, which maps out a way to accomplish the goals. Goal development is worthless unless a plan is developed to accomplish the goals and maintain accountability. Smart companies will develop annual business plans that are essentially one big plan of action to meet the next year's goals for business growth. Developing effective training goals and implementing them in a manner that will be effective and help an organization meet its strategic objectives can be challenging, but is necessary for the success of an organization. What types of systems and training methods have resonated most with you throughout this course? What are some ways we can develop a successful plan of action? What are some of the main elements of planning to reach goals?
