Problem

i. Read through the course schedule found in the Syllabus. What do you notice about the organization of the schedule? Identify specific weeks that you feel will be especially heavy for you or difficult. Then, name 1-2 strategies that you want to use in moments of overwhelm or particularly stressful weeks.

ii. Review the "Class Culture & Literary Learning Process" section. Reflect on some of these values for yourself. How do you want to approach the literary classroom this semester?

iii. Review the "Class Format" & "Course Policies" sections Reflect on 3 tips or pieces of information that are especially helpful for you. List 1 item from the section that you think will be challenging for you.

iv. Review the "Class Discussion" section of the syllabus. Develop and write out your intended strategies for class discussion this semester. Include any anxieties, fears, or difficulties you feel like you will have (whether you are introverted OR extroverted).

v. Review the policies for attendance and late work. What will you do when you're absent and/or not hitting deadlines?
