A unique design is not only about one great idea, but it is also about the way you realize the idea in real life. Every designer's creation must fit perfectly into our life as they are made by the people for the people. In this assignment, you will analyze a company, product, or a service, as a case study, and use that learning to either present your case study analysis about that company or product, or create your own hypothetical company or product, to complete all the 6 sections of this assignment.

Think about a task or a situation that you have encountered in your life, and thought... "I wish somebody invented something for this". Then think about how many other people like you might feel the same. With this in mind, your objective for this assignment is to create a product that can solve an issue but at the same time that can be profitable.

Develop the product concept or analyze your case company or product through the following sections:

Identifying customer needs: The goal of this activity is to understand customers' needs and to effectively communicate them to the development team. The output of this step is a set of carefully constructed customer need statements, organized in a hierarchical list, with importance weightings for many or all the needs. Special attention is paid to the identification of latent needs, which are difficult for customers to articulate and unaddressed by existing products.
