Part A: MACRO VIEW OF YOUR TOPIC.
Write a 5 page paper analyzing Fertility problems health issue from a macro perspective. This includes but is not necessarily limited to: the prevalence of the issue, the population(s) which is most affected by the issue, information specific about the related biological, psychological and social issues how the issue impacts society, policies related to the issue, and the current directions of research and treatment
*At least five credible professional research sources are required for this section.
Part B: MICRO VIEW OF YOUR TOPIC
Write a 5 page paper in which you consider how this issue would be addressed from a micro SOCIAL WORK perspective. In this paper, you will
identify some of the following: how a social worker might be introduced to a client with this health issue, considerations the social worker would need to make to accommodate this client, tasks the worker may need to undertake in working with individuals with this health issue, common services/programs that are used to meet the needs of the clients and current research findings on evidence based practice (task centered, brief treatment or crisis treatment) with clients facing this issue.
This part of the paper also requires an interview with a medical social worker (not a nurse, therapist or case manager) who deals with this type of issue. Need to incorporate the research and interview into a paper format, do not use Q & A format for the interview part of the paper. Need to make the connection between the interview and the research and build this into the paper.
