Problem
For this course, you will act as a safety manager for a chemical manufacturing plant located in a residential area and be responsible for developing an Emergency Contingency Response Plan (ECRP) to mitigate and manage potential hazards and risks. You will apply the steps in the planning process, conduct an emergency drill, evaluate the plan's effectiveness, and develop recovery and resilience strategies. The plant produces chemicals used in producing consumer goods. The chemicals manufactured include the following: phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, methylisothiazolinone, triclosan, PABA (para-aminobenzone), oxybenzone, and avobenzone.
