The patient is a 67 year old Caucasian woman named Susan Rusek that has a medical diagnosis of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome after worsening of acute respiratory failure. The nursing diagnosis for this patient is impaired gas exchange related to diffusion defect as evidenced by abnormal arterial blood gases.The patient was brought to the emergency department after experiencing severe shortness of breath and labored and unusually rapid breathing.
Develop an abstract, a medical history, a medical assessment, a care plan with nursing interventions and a treatment goal.
