Develop a strong-specific thesis statement-hitler and stalin

Assignment task: Does this Introduction develop a strong and specific thesis statement (argument) for my paper? (I have to compare Hitler and Stalin)

Does this introduction establish both my thesis and the main points for my paper?

"During the 20th century, Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin were the most influential and malevolent dictators. The 20th century witnessed the rise of several dictators, especially between World War I (WWI) and World War II (WWII). The aftermath of WWI and the Great Depression created political and economic instability in many countries. These conditions provided fertile grounds for the rise of authoritarian leaders who promised stability, order, and economic recovery. Economic crises often lead to widespread unemployment, poverty, and social unrest. The economic crises in both Germany and the Soviet Union created conditions that made people vulnerable to the rise of authoritarian regimes. Both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin took advantage of political and economic instability in their respective countries by employing different tactics; both leaders exploited the political and economic instability to consolidate their power, suppress dissent, and implement their respective ideologies. They capitalized on the people's fears, frustrations, and aspirations to further their agendas and maintain control over their respective regimes."
