Develop a process map and a task logic map

Assignment Task: Develop a Process Map and a Task Logic Map

Choose any process you would like outside of graphics; such as cooking a meal, changing a flat tire, or preparing for an exam. Map the process that needs to be followed, and then choose one task from that process and map the task logic involved. Use either your own symbols or those provided through software. See product references under Reading & Links. The purpose of this assignment is to understand how mapping out both the overall process and a task-based part of a project clarifies and streamlines what needs to be done.

1. Process Map (Flow A):

Create a flowchart of your overall process (tasks) using flowchart symbols (whatever you choose, either yours or from any software you'd like). Make it clear and concise.

Your Process Map must consist of at least 6 tasks.

2. Task Logic Map (Flow B):

Take 1 task from your Process Map, and map it (sub-map) using flowchart symbols.

Your Task Logic Map must consist of at least 6 sub-tasks.

Note: Submit both (2) flowcharts as PDFs. Use Illustrator, MS Word, PPT, or mapping software such as Lucid Chart (try it!) to create your charts. You can make up your own symbols, as long as they are consistent.
