One of the major gender issues at the work place today is the difference of the level of income for both women and men. Statistics show evidence as well as the readings in this course that men who have the same and even less academic qualifications and experience tend to earn more income than their woman counterparts; it is of great interest to delve into and undertake explanatory research. Pertaining to the underlying reasons and issues that could lead to why woman earn less income compared to their male counterparts. The findings in explaining this phenomenon has been documented widely in workforce economics both formal and informal.
