Develop a hypothesis to test the following claim from a hypothetical company:
Our product "EasyFit", when taken together with a healthy diet, will help you lose weight.
Follow the follwing instructions please:
1. Design an experiment which would test the hypothesis developed above about "Easy Fit". Explain in detail how the experiment would be conducted. Be sure and identify and explain the following:
- what is the independent variable
- what is the dependent variable
- what are the controlled variables for this experiment
- what is the control group, what are the experimental groups.
2. State what would be the experimental results, in detail, which would support the hypothesis. Explain why these results would support the hypothesis.
3. State what would be the experimental results, in detail, which would refute the hypothesis. Explain why these results would refute the hypothesis.
4. Describe another product claim that could be tested by similar a similar hypothesis and experiment.
