Interactive Mini Case - Failure of Costco in China, Failure of Target in Canada, Walmart Failure in Germany There are many examples of organizations who open operations in countries outside of their home base and have failed miserably. Research one of the three following mini cases: Failure of Costco in China Failure of Target in Canada Failure of Walmart in Germany Develop a five minute narrated PowerPoint mini case presentation that discusses the conditions in the market prior to company launch that were unique, at least three reasons why the company failed in their launch, and in hindsight what the company should have done or considered to better position themselves for success in their selected foreign market. Cases will be posted to the learning activity discussion forum and students should not be able to view any posts until they have contributed their initial post.
