Ultimate Potato Bar will create a separate division; U.P.B. On-the-Go, LLC; UPB On-the-Go food trucks that will provide the citizens of
Kansas City, Missouri with the same great tastes and hospital that the Ultimate Potato Bar provides at its downtown location. U.P.B. On-the-Go will provide the same standards of large potatoes, quality tasting meats, and fresh vegetables as the Ultimate Potato Bar currently does.
Primary Needs
U.P.B. On-the-Go will need to purchase a food truck that meets all the regulatory requirements set in place by the Kansas City Missouri Health Department. The truck will be decorative and appealing to the eye to draw the attention of potential customers as the truck drives through the city. U.P.B. will need to negotiate new contracts with our local Idaho Potato, vegetable and meat distributors in order to secure the products that the customers of the Ultimate Potato Bar have grown accustom to.
Secondary Needs
I feel that U.P.B. On-the-Go will target large outdoor events, parks, concerts, and parades. Since the food trucks are widely used throughout Kansas City, U.P.B. will need to quick set itself as the standard of the food truck industry In the city. U.P.B should look at expanding to at least 10 trucks within the next 4 years. 2 of the 10 trucks should be set in localized food truck zones as the remaining 8 should travel to different locations throughout the city.
Required Needs
U.P.B. On-the-Go will need to research marketing strategies and customer satisfaction polls to reach new customer as well and better service the customers we do have. The results from the research will better allow the marketing department to grow U.P.B.'s customer base.
Ignored Needs
U.P.B. may lose those customers that are unsure of cleanliness of food trucks. U.P.B will post its rating in local newspapers and food magazines in order to reassure those leery patrons.
