Determining unknown nucleotide sequences

Problem: Sanger sequencing can be used to determine unknown nucleotide sequences. In the process of dye-terminator sequencing, a mixture of four fluorescently labeled ddNTPs is used to label the DNA molecules produced by the DNA polymerase.
