Determining the maximum compression of the spring

A block of 3.0 kg slides all along a frictionless table-top at 8.0 m/s toward the second block (at rest) of mass 4.5 kg. The coil spring that obeys Hooke's law and consists of spring constant k = 760 N/m, is joined to the second block in such a way that it will be compressed if struck by the moving block.

Determine the maximum compression of the spring? Determine the final velocities of the blocks after the collision? Is the collision elastic? Avoid the mass of the spring.
