Determine which core configuration transfers the maximum

We did our lab on AC fields. We put two different coils of wires where one coil was connected as primary coil and one was connected as secondary coil with N turns and two coils with N turns were put in diffierent setups and the primary current Ip and secondary currents going through the coils with N turns were recorded through voltmeters. The setups for both coils in primary and secondary positions are shown in figure below: and coil with N = 800turns, 200 and400 turns were used in the lab.

1. Referencing the data collected in Section 3.4,

(a) determine which core configuration transfers the maximum electromagnetic effect to the secondary coil. Develop a theory to explain the differences between the core configurations, what about the U configuration, box, air and the iron core configurations? what are the differences? how do I know which one transfers maximum electromagnetic effect?

(b) determine the coil configurations that are Step-Up Transformers' (i.e. output voltage is greater than input voltage), Step-Down Transformers (output voltage is less than input voltage) and Isolation Transformers (output voltage is the same as input voltage),

(c) What additional changes might be made to increase the transfer of electromagnetic effect from one coil to another?
