Problem
• Task I: After reviewing each scenario, determine the priority nursing action and cite your reference. Each answer can be found in the readings assigned in this module. Each response must be cited using APA 7th edition making sure to include the page number(s).
• Task II: Determine what reaction your patient is experiencing and what other symptoms the patient may exhibit or complain of.
• Task III: Using the National Board of State Nursing and American Nurses Association National Guidelines for Nursing Delegation delegate to the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or UAP (Unlicensed Assistive Personnel) an action that would be appropriate to assist the RN in responding to the transfusion reaction. Make sure you clearly state who you would delegate to (LPN or UAP). If there is not an appropriate action for either team member to delegate, state n/a.
