Determine velocity of bullet immediately after passing

A 30 g bullet is fired with a horizontal velocity of 450 m/s through 3-kg block B and becomes embedded in carrier C which has a mass of 30 kg. After the impact, block B slides 0.3m on C before coming to rest relative to the carrier. Knowing the coefficient of kinetic friction between B and C is 0.2, determine (a) the velocity of the bullet immediately after passing through B, (b) the final velocity of the carrier.
