A 3500 lb van is moving at 40 ft/sec when it applies its brakes, which locks all four wheels. If the friction coefficient of each tire against the road is .43, determine

a) the normal forces on the wheels (front and rear) before the brakes are applied, and

b) while the van is braking. Also determine

c) the time required to stop when braking.
