Determine thermal efficiency and net work of cycle

An ideal Brayton cycle has reheat between the first and second staged turbines and regeneration following the second turbine. The compressor brings in air at 300 ? and 1 bar and pressurizes it to 9 bar. The combustor heats the compressed, regenerated air to 1000 K. The reheater, operating at 5 bar, heats the expanded air leaving the first turbine to 950 K. The regenerator has an effectiveness of 80%. Perform (i) a preliminary analysis using a Mollier diagram, then (ii) compute more accurate numbers using EES. Draw a schematic of the cycle. Label the 8 state points consecutively with state 1 entering the first compressor. Draw a T-s diagram. Label state points Determine the net work of the cycle. Determine the heat into the cycle. Determine the thermal efficiency of the cycle.
