Question- Consider a more realistic open Brayton cycle shown in the figure below. At the compressor inlet, the air temperature is 25°C and the pressure is 100kPa. The maximum cycle temperature is 1100°C and the engine operates at a pressure ratio of 4 with compressor and turbine isentropic efficiencies of 75%. We assume that there is no pressure drop across the heater/combustor.

Part 1- Determine the thermal efficiency of the engine.

Part 2- Also calculate the efficiency of the ideal Brayton cycle with isentropic compressor and expression. Assume constant specific heats at room temperature.
