Determine the tension in the rope at the highest location

When the rope is at an angle of a = 20? the 0.5 kg sphere A has a speed v0 = 1.2 m/s. The coefficient of restitution between A and the 1 kg wedge B is 0.8 and the length of rope l = 0.8 m. The spring constant has a value of 500 N/m and ? = 20?. Determine:

a) The velocity of A and B (magnitudes and directions) immediately after the impact.

b) The maximum distance wedge B travelled within its enclosure after gaining momentum during impact, assuming no friction between the wedge and top wall, the kinetic friction coefficient between the wedge and the bottom wall is coefficient of friction = 0.15

c) The energy lost due to the impact.

d) Determine the tension in the rope at the highest location.
