Given ε⁰_x = ε⁰_y = ,γ⁰_xy = 0 and κ_x = 1.0 m^-1 , κ_y = 0.5 m^-1 , κ_xy = 0.25 m^-1 , compute the strains (in laminate coordinates) at z = -1.27 mm in the laminate of Problem 2.

Problem 2:

Find σ₁, σ₂, and σ₆ at z = 0, on both laminae of a laminate [±30]T subject to N= = 1 N/m (all remaining forces and moments equal to zero), with t₁ = t₂ = 1.27 mm, E₁ = 137.8 GP a, E= = 9.6 GP a, G= = 5.2 GP a, ν₁₂ = 0.3.
