Rational

I have decided to move forward with this assignment for several reasons. In my initial discussion question post I mentioned the amount African Americans that openly served in the Revolutionary War and I was stunned. I started thinking about how many other unsung heroes there were and that my students should know all about them. I also chose this assignment because I feel children will soon start getting varied lessons about the Constitution and its true meaning. I believe a new holistic view including all races will identify well with the students.
