Determine the reynolds number ratio as a function of the

Determine the Reynolds number ratio as a function of the length ratios in a distorted model. Assume that fluid and temperature are identical for model and prototype in Prob and determine Rer.

A river model is to be constructed using a vertical scale of 1/50 and a horizontal scale of 1/40. The prototype channel has an average depth of 2.5 m, an average width of 280 m, a Manning n = 0.024, and a slope of 0.0002. Assuming that the river is approximately rectangular, determine the model and prototype discharges. In addition, determine the distortion ratio, the model roughness, and both the model and prototype Reynolds and Froude numbers.
