Determine the quadratic function which best fits the data


The ball is dropped from the upper observation deck of CN Tower, 450 meters above ground, and its height h above the ground is recorded at given time intervals in table below.

i) Create the scatter plot of data. Then determine the quadratic function which best fits the data. Round-off the coefficients to 2 decimal places, if essential. ii) Graph quadratic model on to the scatter plot and predict height of ball 9 seconds after it was dropped. iii) Using the answer in part (i) and QuadraticFormula, compute, correct to 2 decimal places, time at which ball will eventually hit ground.
