Determine the pressure-temperature and volume at new state


An insulated piston-cylinder device with horizontal axis 1 kg of air that occupies 1.5m^3 at 25degC. The piston is held in place by a locking pin. The surrounding atmosphere is 100 kPa. If the pin is then removed and the air in the cylinder adjusts rapidly to its new state in adiabatic process, determine the pressure, temperature and volume at this new state.
