Determine the number of atoms are contained in one unit cell

1. The atomic radius of a strontium atom is 215 pm. Strontium forms face-centered cubic crystals. Calculate the face of a unit cell with the nuclei of the strontium atoms at lattice points. The atoms are in contact along the diagonal. Determine the length of an edge of this unit cell.

2. Determine the number of atoms are contained in one unit cell of metallic tungsten if it forms a face centered cubic unit cell?

3. A unit cell of sodium chloride was chosen so that the face-centered cube was formed from sodium ions. A certain number of chloride ion lattice points and a certain number of sodium ion lattice points are needed. Determine the numbers of chloride ion lattice points are in the unit cell as described above.
