Solution

Apply KCL at the node whose voltage is V.

Algebraic summation of all the current meeting at node is zero.

(V - 10)  /I+ V/I + V /4 = 0

V   [1 + 1 +(1/4)]         = 10

2.25 V = 10

V = 4.44 volt.

Now we have to determine current through each element.

I₁  = 10 - V / 1 = 10 - 4.44 = 5.56 Amp

I₁  = V/1 = 4.44 Amp

I₂  =V/4 = 1.11 Amp .
