Given the equation (explosion of nitroglycerin):
C3H5N3O9 -> 3CO2   +   5/2 H2O   +3/2 N2   + 1/4 O2
Compute the 0.20mol of nitroglycerin at 298K totally filling a constant volume cell of 0.030L. Determine the maximum pressure and temperature that would be generated by the explosion. Suppose the ideal gas products, adiabatic conditions and the total heat capacity at the constant volume for this system is constant at Cv= 100 J/K. Standard enthalpy of reaction was found to be -1412.56 kJ/mole.
