Determine the maximum frictional force

A uniform ladder of 5.0 m long rests against a frictionless, vertical wall with its lower end 3 m from the wall. The ladder weighs 125 N. The coefficient of static friction among the foot of the ladder and the ground is around 0.40. A man weighing 710 N climbs slowly up the ladder.

(i) Determine the maximum frictional force which the ground can apply on the ladder at its lower end?

(ii) Determine the real frictional force if the man has climbed 1.0 m all along the ladder?

(iii) Determine how far all along the ladder can the man climb before the ladder begins to slip?
